A wildlife photographer's paradise, Shetland is home to thousands of seabirds in the summer, from gannets and puffins, to skua and guillemot.

Mid-July is the height of the breeding season, and thousands upon thousands of birds call the towering cliffs and coastline of Shetland home for a few short months each summer. Lots of time will be spent amongst several colonies from the south to it the isles very northern limit.

Being the best place in Europe to watch otters, and with some of the largest seabird colonies in the world, Shetland is a wildlife photographers heaven.

A trip out to Noss National Nature Reserve will surely be a highlight for many, we’ll travel out by boat to experience a gannet feeding frenzy - an assault on all the senses as hundreds dive around our vessel.

Shetland guide John Moncrieff will be our local knowledge, providing up date information on the best places to see and photograph a variety of species. He will also be taking every member of the group to go in search of elusive otters.
