Squadrons of ducks, geese and sometimes black swans are common on the river near my home but they never land or take off near me, always in different places. Lakes are obviously a better bet as the birds are more restricted. I can’t wait till we are allowed to use our cars again. How spoilt we’ve been and didn’t know it.
