I was one of those Vegetablists mentioned above (now a Veganist!) and was looked after incredibly well at every meal time. The food (and drink) was outstanding and plentiful. The whisky porridge was everything I hoped it would be (nice and boozy!!) but the warm welcome into the kitchen is what stays with me now. Thank you, Elaine, for everything. I loved my time on St Kilda (thanks to James, Harry and Marcus, as well) and loved being so well looked after so far from home.

I second what James says ~ you are a culinary whizz! What you achieved in the more than basic Feather Store kitchen was miraculous and now, in the house, is beyond compare. Your whisky porridge is the stuff of legend and a St Kilda trip wouldn't be the same without you
